Hello everybody, I just bought a 1999 Yukon, I have a bad u joint in the front driveshaft transfer case side. My problem is, I unbolted the straps from the u joint on the differential side, but I can't get the shaft to slide into the tc to remove it. I tried a big ass prybar between the yoke and the u joint, and its stuck bad. When prying on it, the whole tranny and tc move. It sees to be stuck or something is blocking it inside the tc. Anybody have any ideas?

Nice. I had a GMT400 99 Tahoe Z71 and it was the most comfortable vehicle I owned but that vortec was anemic and was eating fuel pumps up among other things. As for your stuck yoke, they have yoke pullers that you might be able to rent from a big box auto store. I would try a two jaw puller if I had one as well.
