I ordered some cheap Dorman with the air tube ports that can be plugged. Planned on just swapping and if I found I could delete air injection I would. I have, keeping EGR so no chip change.

Welcome from Dfw, my daughter and I are working on her 73 c1500 as well. Good to see others here spreading the knowledge of fixing things without computers. Finished rebuilding the engine on hers and should have it fired up tomorrow

Welcome for Oregon.

We used some stock iron manifolds from a 1997 454 we pulled out of the junkyard.
One of the original stock ones cracked and we had them on hand.
They work well, but we replaced ours with headers and are much happier.
