Hello everyone my name is Jason Ellis, I am 36 years old on the date of this post. I live in Southern California, married and have two kids, a girl and a boy.
I have owned a few Squarebody's over the years my favorite being the 1975 K5 blazer I used to own, its long gone now.
I currently own a 1975 C20 3+3 Long Bed Single Rear Wheel. I have owned it for about five months now and I don't think I will ever sell it, but we always say that.
It has original sheet metal on the front clip,(or the front fenders forward). It has the original cab and bed. The doors have been "updated" to what I believe to be 1990 suburban 2500 doors, all power, all working and wired up.
8 lug 14 bolt rear not sure on the ratio haven't looked into the RPO's yet. 8 lug 3/4 ton 2WD stuff up front. What appears to be the original TH350 under there, is still barely chugging along.
Original engine bottom end (I checked the suffix code), Vortec heads, Edelborck intake, serpentine setup off an early C1500, no A/C right now but the compressor is there.
Here are a few pictures of the truck as I bought it. I will be posting more on the purchase and the journey thus far.
Thank you for letting be a part of your club, I look forward to everything this forum has to offer.
