I believe I have a fusable link issue from what I have read so far. All of the fuses have tested out fine, I replaced the ones that were oxydized just in case.

The truck starts, fans work, wipers work, turn signals and brake likes are fine.

It is just the interior lights, headlights, horn and radio that seem to be out.

I did replace the alternator recently and i expect that is when it happened. I don't drive it at night or use the radio since the speakers were blow out :D

I had voltage at this connector so I think i am good, i did not check by the starter yet.

This is the one I am wondering about, I am going to throw a multimeter on this and see if it has continuity and voltage. I will post more once I get a few more tests in.

I checked the two cables coming out from the bottom of the fusible link and they both have the same voltage as my battery. here are a few more pictures of the fuse box.

So there are two red wires that feed back from the constant (I believe) back through the firewall. I found these two schematics on the web.

One of them had voltage, while the other did not. I suspected that it has to be the feed from down near the starter. When I looked It seems one of the lines is broken. Fixing it looks like it is going to be a PITA.

Of course, it looks like I hit an oil well when I was under there, I guess I will be taking care of that as well.

So it was the fusable link down by the starter, as I thought it was a PITA.

Do you happen to have a picture of this fusible link, or know where I might see one? I'm having a similar problem and I'd like to check out my fusible links. I recently replaced my starter, so I could be having the same issue as you did.

If you look at the last photo that is the broken wire to the link. It's the best I could do.

I thought if I actually used Donald Trump, I’d get kicked off the forum!

Hmm... Maybe not this forum. Of course they may have a thing about any political talk. Most forums do. Nothing good ever comes of it lol
