I am rewiring my 1982 C20 and am removing the factory fuse box that is attached the main bulkhead connector and plan on using a few terminal blocks for the multiple +12 V power and ground. the more I thought about it I was thinking of putting almost everything (except dome and courtesy light) on the +12V On/Run leg of the ignition switch instead of having some stuff wired directly to +Bat or through ACC. I'll run the distributor power to the On/Crank/Start leg but the rest (including the head and tail lights) through the +12V On/Run leg. I would just do this for conveinience as would not be able to leave lights on need one less terminal block but wasn't sure if the switch could handle that load on the one leg. I could put the headlights and radio on ACC but just wanted to get your thoughts on how to do this most efficiently. I will be using inline fuses for those that need them.
