if the interior is maroon, what paint choice is the exterior

i have a maroon interior on my 86 gmc, the truck is black right now. i want to know what other color options there were with maroon interior. and what custom color options do i have that go best with maroon. thanks.

Anything white to black in the vein of the gray/silver family could look good with it. Maroon would look good too obviously, if you can handle that much maroon! I could think of several excellent two-tone schemes...

White with maroon racing stripes.
White with the center section maroon.
White with a maroon top.
White with maroon ralley wheels.
Maroon with the center section white.

As you can tell I would go majority white with maroon accents to tie in the maroon interior. Personally I don't care for black and maroon together on the exterior.

Mines red. I have maroon interior. Mines been repainted I think back in the 90s maybe. But I think it was red before.

Charcoal grey top and bottom with a black center. Run the chrome strip down the side and top it off with red pinstripe along the front and top of the black panel. Factory color scheme back in the day. I almost traded my grey and black 79 for a 83 or 84 back in the day. Key word is almost.

If you look in the under construction section, my truck is there. It is a 79 that is grey with a black center. It has maroon interior. Back in the day it was one of the sharpest trucks in this area. We are working on it and it will be repainted back to the same color. It will look really good.

Mine is Red w/ Black stripe as you can see, along with having a Dark Carmine red interior, seats and everything.
Thinking real hard about doing the carpet and seats black against the Carmine red interior, should be a nice contrast!

Unfortunately, I don't see my option there and I know it's original paint scheme, along with Dark Carmine Red interior.

The dark grey has it and it looks pretty good in my opinion I would like to have the red redone with some flake, I like the color scheme with my interior. Most of my paint is still good other than the roof and hood being faded
