I don't know that I have ever seen one. What did they come in originally?
Mid 70s to mid 80s econo cars, like the Chevette. The TH200 and TH200c were part of that period in GM design when they lightened everything looking for better gas mileage. Nothing basically wrong with them other than they are small, for small horsepower and Americans beat the p!ss out of everything.

I had a Turbo 200 in my '64 Pontiac Tempest behind a 326 2bbl. It took a lickin' and kept on tickin'!

That must be why I was unfamiliar with that transmission. I’m into huge horsepower rigs. Does Z28 ring any bells??

I’m not sure that was meant for anything but humor but I know what you mean. I used to be on another forum and when I asked a question there was one guy who would immediately answer, act like I was stupid and almost never paid attention to the question or had the correct information. I saw he did it to everyone so I didn’t feel singled out but when he did it to a guy asking about a source for wheels for his pro touring truck, the OP got a list of things this moderator(yes moderator) would change about the truck and told him his wheels were fine. I PM’d the guy and told him to come over here. Don’t know if he ever did but I hope so.

So in conclusion, feel free to ask questions and don’t get discouraged if you’re feeling slighted. I’m a bit of a smart ass myself and I’m not sure it always comes across the way it was meant but I would expect to get called out if I offended someone.

I concur. I was just trying to encourage further participation by the OP.

if you thiink just American's beat the piss out of everything have you heard of the Italian tune-up? It's especially useful on the italian cars that don't get driven as much as the city dwelling Americn muscle or econoboxes. The difference is that when they do the Italian tune-up they charge the owner some crazy fee for service, lol...

I generally poke to see how they take it. Nothing mean, in fun. I’ve had a few disagreements on here most were with adults and acted as such and well.....
