There aren't too many T65 fasteners out there. Some Subarus, I think.

You might have to pick that one up separate...But I really wouldn't worry about it. You might run across one once every a year...

So a T65 does exist then? Another forum site said it jumps from T60 to T70 and T65 doesnt exist.

Oh it exists, they're just hard to find. Usually people just use a 1/2" hex key.

can honestly say i have never had the need for 3 eights drive inch socket, as far as metric i use the 18 and 19 all the time on caliper brackets, but have never needed a 20 in 2 eights, i think the torx 65 fits the caliper brackets on the luminas and such, the one i have only came in half inch drive

As I said, T65s are rare but they are out there, some GMs use them, notably the 4L80 oil filter.

You won't be needing one, really. I'd stick with a T60 being your biggest. If you should happen to go to work at a Subaru dealer, they will usually provide one.

As far as end wrenches go. I've had good luck with Proto.

I'll probably go with craftsman on wrenches cause they come in sets. Snapon just sells them individually.

Snappy sells sets. Are you going with regular or ratcheting?

I couldnt find a set that had 1/4 to 1in in open end or box end or equilvant to that in metric. Sears has 1/4 to 1 1/2 and 6 to 32 in metric in box end for $179.99. Sears open set is 1/4 to 1 5/8 and metric 6 to 32 for 143.99. Just regular for now. Will go ratcheting before the school year ends.

Well, remember you won't need most of those sizes. You will rarely use anything bigger than 24mm, or 1 inch when working on most cars.
