I guess to the original post, why use a very limited viewership platform to try to peddle your general “stuff”. Geographically speaking it’s almost a no go. Quantitatively, it’s really limiting.
Sure if it’s related to the general topics here, it may be a good or at least halfway decent way to sell, but I don’t understand selling random stuff. If I wanted to see what random junk was for sale in New EnglAnd I’d just search FB or CL there.
I missed that part about selling. Sadly the high shipping costs usually kill sell deals on here. As you mention geographical as in a hurdle. Sometimes it works out but most of the time, distance and shipping is the killer.

As a brand new member, I can say: This thread was very informative I was wondering why there were so few topics available, completely oblivious to the 50 post count, and I really enjoyed how the banter played out. Haven't been a member of any forum for quite some time, not since I was deep into homebrewing before I went pro. I look forward to nerding out on this now! :happy160:

I was actually browsing around looking for rules. Is there a forum rules section, so I don't...I don't know...talk about dodges too much or something? :p Maybe something that explains the 50 post count stuff. Again, informative, because I know you guys also just updated your forums ;)

Thank you! That all sounds good :) I guess I figured it would be in introductions and didn't think to check news. Should have browsed a bit more :33:

You can't see the rules until you have the 50 posts :emotions33:

Ignorance of the rules is no excuse!! It's the American way!! :happy175:

I stand corrected. Looks like it either took a few minutes to update or 51 was the magic number. Hello new forum area.....
