Mine had the braces on the front and back hanger.
I mentioned it probably fits the front because it’s a little away from the frame in the spot he has it now. Lotta variations around the trucks . For a second I even thought it was a front bump stop from a 4x 4 but he says his trucks a C30.
Who knows. Educated guesses are all we have. I’m sure the parts could even be 1ton specific so us 1/2 and 3/4 ton guys aren’t much help.
I looked at my k30 frame and my c30 and the only spot they have an extra brace like that is on the rear of the rear spring . Your right it is a little lower I didnt think about that.

Super great! that is where I have it is on the rear spring.

I had to move the diff 3 3/8” forward because it was a chassis cab originally. Hence all the grade 8 bolts.

Now all I need to do is drill holes and mount those suckers. I’ll be sure to post pics!!

I never would have guessed that location saying I appreciate all your help would be an understatement!

Thank you all so very much!!

The 3 hole thing would those line up with the 3 holes in the bumper where the balls go? Like some kind of home made plate to strengthen the bumper? Idk.

If you are talking about the rear bumper the ole cc didn’t have a rear bumper.

It was a welding truck so it had a massive round tube welded on the very back and a “custom” double ball hitch on it.

I’m wondering if it goes on the front bumper though all 3 holes were used it’s a bit wollered out and you could see bolt/fastener clamp marks it also has a purposeful arch in both pieces

I mean arched on purpose very slight though.

The closest thing to your other bracket is at core support bracket on inside of frame rail and 1 hole for bumper bracket bolt.

That bracket is to strengthen the frame for factory tow hooks.

Ya the dual arched 3 hole flat strap looking pieces are still a mystery. :Big Laugh::Big Laugh:

I sure appreciate everyone’s help though!!!

That little rear spring hanger support bracket looks pretty important especially for a truck with a stroked 454. That was a big save. As I’m sure it helps when towing or doing n02 assisted dual wheel burnouts

Look close at the parts and see if you can see the stamped number. That number will correspond with the parts illustration manuals. I did this with pulleys.

6. 7.112 REINFORCEMENT , RR SPR RR HNGR (K/V1-2) ............................................ 6270214

Still never figured out the 3 hole arched flat strap looking pieces. Anyone else run across something like this yet?

I believe we have a winner! Those look just like the ones on the back side of tow hooks.

Of course, I might have just found them laying around and decided to use them for that, but I kinda doubt it.
