Maybe time we had a "Help- 911" forum here that if you break down away from home you can post and maybe get help from locals.
Like letting someone use a garage/tools to get up and running.

That is a great idea. Maybe one of those google maps showing the member volunteers and trustworthy shops locations and information that the members here can edit.
