HVAC Vacuum Controls

My sphere vacuum reservoir is on the driver side next to the firewall, can I use that one or Do I need a separate reservoir? I have an 86 c10. Not sure if these trucks came with 2 vacuum reservoirs.

My ‘85 Silverado only has one vacuum pod on the driver’s side. Early trucks have the passenger side pod.

Sounds like they integrated the functions of the vacuum reservoir more in the later years. For my ‘75, I think that was the first year cruise control was offered, so there was no reason for a vacuum canister on the driver side until they started offering cruise control.
