I was worried about the glass prior to taking a lighter to the old button so I looked at LMC and SafeAuto for windshield replacement prices beforehand.

No damage to windshield from the heat. I'd heat for 30 seconds then take a scraper to it. After the third heating the old one popped right off.

I'll hook up the wiring tomorrow.

lol tomorrow finally came yesterday. The only issue I had was a loose power connection.

just a thought to add to this thread, ever thought to have the temp monitor trans temp, engine, or other stuff? Not sure how the conversion would work for pressure/vacuum. I'm assuming the readings are all based on resistance. Just a thought that popped in my head reading through the forums.
