Truck has two tone paint and we'd like to repaint it with just a single color. How is the molding covering the ling between the two tone paint attached? Is it something exterior mounted only like a double sided tape or are there holes in the side panels with some type of clip in them (hoping not!).

If it's the rubber type molding it is just double sided tape, the 70's trucks with the stainless trim had clips.

Use a heat gun to help get the two sided tape off if it's stubborn. I've seen that stuff fall off with a fart and others that just about took the sheet metal with it.

The rear corners bolt on and there's clips on the tailgate that are held on with two sided tape.
