How slow is your daily driver?

Slowest DD I ever had was a CJ5 that was actually a L Head Willy’s (cj3a? maybe) with a CJ5 tub on it.
Back in high school. And it was beautiful. No rust, new paint, looked great. Only way to get a Jeep that wasn’t new or a rust bucket that I could afford on a high school salary.
I got sick of it pretty quick, not much for driving slow. And the heater sucked.

I know how that is. I have a 52 CJ3A. Fastest I've ever had it was a bit over 50mph. Almost 55. That was flat out. They are scary at that speed though, would not suggest it. At least with 70 year old suspension and steering. Itll happily do 30 all day, anywhere, cruises pretty good at 40.

L head was in the older flat fender willys, CJ5s had a F head from the factory, but yeah, engine or tub could've been swapped.

It was 100% old chassis and drivetrain with a newer tub and front clip.
Forget now, as it was a range of years I nailed it down to for parts. and they were considered “old” in the late 80s.

Slowest one ever was a 1960 VW beetle with a 36 hp engine.Slowed down on every slope of pavement and sounded like a sewing machine running under distress

See... 6800 to be exact, but 230lbs of me, a full tank of gas, 2 tool bags, a spare tire, and X wrench, and that's a bit over 7k, unless the ol intterwebs and my buddy are both lying.
I truthfully dont know.

Hmm, interesting. I'll have to get mine weighed then.
Mine is the same set up as that.
Yours is a squarebody suburban though, mine is a gmt400 model, so maybe there's a difference.

Wife has 2020 hemi Charger.

My 2015 camaro v6 has a lap timer but that's it. I guess I could start and stop myself to get the times but the app might be better. It has some good reviews.

I've had it up to 115 before but, didn't stay there very long. It had a lot more pedal left too. Lol

327hp, I'm curious about acceleration as I kept up with a charger with scat pack on it from dead stop till about 50 then I let off as I didn't need a ticket.

We could have a site wide showdown IF

If we agreed on some kind of cell phone app that clocks e.t. - then we ALL could "virtually" drg race each other from across the globe and stuff, yeah?

There could be a site champion.
I believe that is a reasonable idea, don't you?
Screenshots instead of burning rubber loses luster yeah sure but it was only an idea.

Anyone know of some quality app to use? A GPS app or something? Virtual speedometer have drag race timers in them I'm certain.

C10 still has no axle.... so I can't do any times on it (yet)

IMO, the 0-60 is only relevant if the app shows other metrics. Most important would be elevation ROC or at least delta. I can 0-60 in 5 seconds in my truck…going down a 10% grade.

Tested it on the way home and it works great. Resets when you stop and starts to record when you start moving again. Will keep your fastest time and speed.
