You say 35 ft trailer but how long is the deck . is it 5 lug 6 lug or 8 lug ? I had a 36 ft goose neck the deck was 84 wide x20 with 4 ft dove tail . 8000 lb axels 8 lug new 10ply tires (5) a 10,000 winch mounted high on the goose neck with snach block just above the deck . it had a tool box mounted on top of the neck and cutting torch rack in the front in the neck upright . when I sold it all I could get for it was $2100 . Hope this helps you with your valuation of your trailer.

Take the gooseneck and the little bit of tail out of the picture, and it's a 27 ft. deck. It's also an eight bolt lug pattern.

I'm going to say that the best offer you got was probably about the best you can hope for. Trailers normally hold their value very well (at least where I'm from) but there's a lot of things going against it. Like the lights, tires and decking. I don't remember if you mentioned the brakes.

Oh man, I haven't even thought about the brakes. I imagine they're not the best from sitting so long, but I doubt they're totally gone either. I agree, though. The more I think about it, the more I wish I would have taken that offer. I actually thought about it over the weekend and messaged the guy back, and I guess I lost him because I never heard back.
