How much is the drive line and frame 3/4ton worth

I have a rolling frame of a 3/4 ton with 8 lug front and rear. I forgot the count, but its the most common front differential that has locking hubs that came with spencer hubs, nothing special to it(no LS, no full time, etc) and it goes to a transfer case... which I couldnt tell ya but probably the same one I have (2H, 4H, N, 4L) with N and 4l on the bottom right of the pattern. The rear end is a 14 bolt no LSD, no disc brakes. Stock, standard.

I have the entire setup, driveshafts included, minus a hub locker(spencer, stock) front axle-shaft that I stole for my front end to fix a broken u joint that sheared my yokes. The frame has been sitting on my property for years, but because the rear leaf springs kind of... well...fell off(just the brackets disintegrated) the differential is all alone with a leaf spring attached and 2 wheels, while the drive shaft was unbolted long ago and is laying with the rest of the frame.

Im no expert, but one of the cross members that hold the frame parralel got bent in, causing the frame to try to come to a point at the tail end(by the bed). Is that repairable or does the frame just get considered scrap at that point?

Also with no cab or bed or really anything on the frame there is a chance its a short bed but it did seem long, so something I would confirm at that time, too. The only difference in that case should be driveshaft length.

Is there other information needed?(tags off said parts to identify for sure, pictures, etc) I am not looking to move this quickly, but would kind of like to know relative value of individual parts or as groups. if detailed numbers and pics are wanted, I will have to wait till snow melts so I can get to them.

Is the drive line worth repairing and fixing the frame, maybe rebuild the trans(5 speed with granny gear, no idea on what number is atm. came in 90s chevys) and differentials/transfer case, rear disc conversions, route wiring, route brake lines, while transplanting straight off my truck? Maybe even just find a new cab and bed? Ive got 5 SBC not including my current truck engine.

Frame and parts are all surface rust. Im just getting a feel for what value would be, we are looking at cleaning up property.

If it has 8 lug wheels, it's not a shortbed.

If it has a 5 speed, that's probably a NV4500, popular for an upgrade, and worth a few bucks, although I didn't think they had a granny gear.

Around here a set of 3/4 ton axles goes for $2-300, but with missing parts it will be less.

If it actually has an NV4500 swapped into the frame, that's some money there.

If it is the NV4500, is the mount special or does it bolt up?

CH-465 appears to be the trans, my bad. its the same as in my plow truck already. So this frame is an exact duplicate. Same T case, same trans, same length, same tonnage, same axles.

I don't know about the rear half that's buried in the snow, but the rest looks really solid.

Its just bent inward, the cross beam is bent in the center.

I would assume with new spring and differential mounts, bolts, etc that issue would be fixed. The frame... could a guy bend it back and weld reinforcement plates.... but of course... bending it perfectly straight might be difficult.

Also does anyone know what the shock on steering components does. Make less jerks?

That frame is trashed. Probably not worth the time. But I don't know for sure I guess it depends on a person's desire for it.

You figured bit out but just by sight I could tell that was a 465 trans. The bell housing is gone.

Yes the shock thing is a steering damper. It reduces bump steer going over bumps or holes in the road.

As for value. I wouldn't think you could get much more than a few hundred for what you have there as a pile. If you found the right person you would get more. But the sum value of the parts would be more than it whole to someone. But that's my opinion.
