So we were in a accident on the freeway over the weekend. 60 mph another car lost control, clipped my CCLB 8.1 truck, tore up the bumper and the bed.
I was pretty bummed, I really like that truck, but I took it as an opportunity to build a new bumper. The rear truck bumper should be pretty straightforward and good practice for the front, and eventually new bumpers and skids for my FJ.
I got the Cut50P Ebay/Chinese plasma, 230 bucks shipped, we'll see how it goes. In my experience, they typically fail out of the box or work for years. My 180 HF welder is still chugging along 4 years later lol.
I'm bummed about the truck, but excited about the plasma cutter.
