I've found as I've gotten older(49)I don't wanna see if I can go 100+ but, rather how fast I can get to 100.

Found a lot of torque can be just as fun as a lot of speed. When I get on the SS it'll sit ya back and by the time I shift into 4th I'm doing 90+ so I usually just shift into 5th and 6th normal and start to reduce speed.slowly. it's got some long gears in it. When I sell it to a younger kid I'll let him wreck it at 100+. Lol

That's why I can't wait to get the square on the road and see what that BBC will do.

He's got it geared to finish in the top of 4th. Listen at the end he says well I got 5th. Lol

Out 4 back 2, what? Explains gearing a little more.

Well I have had mine with 3.08s to 130mph on factory tires and only the stock 5.0 so it's all on the nerves you got lol... now with tuned up 350 and a Morden 5 speed a 100 comes quick but don't push it much past that mostly ... they are bricks and with little lift and bigger tiers it becomes unstable rather fast after 100

I got to 190kph = 118mph. How? I have replaced all front end parts, new poly bushings, all brake parts, 305 engine with a 700r4 tranny and 3.08 rear end gears, it drives as good or better than when it came off the line. I also have brand new BFG tires. My OD with my foot down engages around 140kiph/90mph and I could have gone much faster, I'm sure I could do 140mph in my 84 C10.

Squarebodys had improved aerodynamics over the previous generation 67-72.
Square eyes are actually even more 'improved aerodynamically' compared to round eyes.

So yeah, testing.

The 80 square eye is not as aerodynamic as the 81 and ups :)

The 67-72 trucks were called the "Action Line". 73-87 were called the "Rounded Line". But not to "round" though
