Hood stuck

Hello I have a 1986 k20 and I can't get the hood to release can someone help with my problem

Pull on the cable and keep it pulled while someone else hits the hood to jar it open.

Look at the hood/fender gaps and see if it is too close or rubbing. Also if it is parked on uneven ground try it on a level spot. The 83 I had wouldn't close unless it was on level ground so it may be a similar problem with yours not opening.

My 85, after I pull the release, I have to go out, bump the top of the hood and bounce it down a tad, then it pops up enough for me to get in and release the secondary safety latch. Give it a try. No need to hit it hard, just a quick bang with a fist should do it. It'll make you think you are the Fonz on Happy Days to make the Juke box work.

Ayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyee !!! I actually thought of that, but thought maybe with TV Land these days, maybe Happy Days runs on that channel and he'd seen it before. :birgits_tiredcoffee

He's into a few of them Hallmark channel feel good family shows too. My mom drives me nuts with that ****. :shitsweak:

Thanks guys I found out the cable covering was broke and when I went to pull the lever the cord came out of the latch holder and I did a temp fix till I can get a new one and I do know who the fonz is oddly enough
