Hi all,

Is anyone running here the Holley Retrobrights on their rig? Im going to be dailying my 86 Suburban and want decent lighting, so ive gone ahead and ordered 4x Holley Retrobrights after watching the various YT reviews etc.

They are very much not cheap, but im hoping will make a big difference... ive also ordered the adaptor loom to enable 4x low 4x high beam.

Is anyone here running them and care to share personal experience?

Thanks!

I just checked those out. I wasn't aware of them. It's good they have replaceable cartridges. I don't like plastic housings, they tend to get cloudy, especially here in the desert heat. That's why I like the glass version I got from lmc. And the price difference. I would absolutely cover them PPF. I've done that with my 2021 truck and so far they still look brand new.

I got the rms led 4x6 lights and those are great. Plugs right up to the wire harness. SO much brighter than the original.

I also have the RMS lights. +1

I bought the LMC version and never ran them. Sitting in my cabinet now.

It took a while, but they finally came in. $1200 right there, so I sure hope they are worth it!

I also bought the reverse polarity plugs (just in case) and the dual high/lo loom, so that I can use all 4 lights all the time.

I hope to fit them next week. Will update!

This must be a Euro market only thing but am glad to hear someone is still making this style and size. Hella ecodes (what I have) dropped theirs.....and I thought $100ea was bad. I had Xpel protective lenses made for them.

Cibies were always my favorites - I think Valeo owns them now but I haven't seen any of them in a 4x6 in a long time.

i bought these holley lights for my 79 (round headlight). yes expensive...approx $200 per bulb but 110% worth the money. The work excellent and look as original as you can get. I will be buying a set of 4 for my 87 R10 next
