Installed a new high torque mini starter in my truck this weekend.. Wow, lots of pluses there.
The old starter, in order to remove it I had to drop the front drive shaft..
To install the new one, I checked to see, and sure enough, it slid right past the drive shaft.
Hooked it up, it starts the engine no problem.
Permanent magnet, brushless design promises much more longevity, more torque, and less power drain.
And, it was $35 on Amazon!
