Like I said, it takes a certain kind of person to see past the rough edges, and appreciate what is right in front of them.

Nice! I'd drive that thing every day of the week, and twice on sunday! I'd love to have a 4 speed C20 regular cab. I need more land, so I can have my whole herd of trucks, one of every square! :D

That's a pretty clean truck. Some new white paint on the wheels and mirrors, some elbow work on the paint and it would look almost new again.

Thanks for the kind replies guys. As for painting and buffing, I might fall into the minority, but I like old work trucks to look like...well, old work trucks.

I know it's popular to take a beater like mine and bring it back to factory fresh, or grind on a nice truck to make it look worn down. My real interest with this one is seeing a 30+ year old truck that was built to work, has done its share of work, and still holds up well enough to get around under its own power.

If I had the time and money :whymewhyme: a full restoration would make this Custom Deluxe truck a real gem, but I like to think there's some truth in the saying 'There only original once'. I appreciate your opinion HotRod, but I'll keep her as is for now. Maybe I'll start one of those 'Go Fund Me' pages, and get some of those people who don't know what to do with all they're extrea cash lying around, to pay to put her back in the showroom.
