I was referred to this site by Retroc10sport (cool guy by the way) from Wbody.com. I have a 87 GMC Sierra 4x4 and it's listed on the Wbody.com site so he suggested I sign up here. Pretty cool site so far!

I'm in the process of restoring my old pick up and I have a 91 Suburban that I'm using for parts. It has a really nice maroon interior and I was wondering if I can swap the buckets/console and rear seat to a square body crew cab. I love the maroon interior color and want to utilize it into something else. The rear seats are split folding as I'm sure you guys know so would this work in the back of a crew cab? The third row seat is gone, bought it that way. The Saturday of 9/17, I'm having my buddy switch over the transmission tunnel from the Burb to my 2WD parts truck for my 87. Excited and ready to start working on her again!

The buckets and console are a given, they will swap over with a little modification (some threads on here that should be in the interior section on that topic) but I'm not sure about the back seat, perhaps ask in the interior section and a CC/Suburban owner can chime in.

Thanks! I got some pics but in the process of taking more. I'll post them when I get time. Working on the frame next week and going to switch over the body to the frame hopefully week after next.

Getting ready to switch over the body to the 4x4 frame and was wondering what the High Sierra designation is? Truck is optioned as so.

350 fuel injected V8, turbo 350 (don't know if this is original).
factory dual tanks, a/c, cruise but has manual windows and locks.
has the rubber floor and dual front shocks.

Is this optioned this way because of it being a High Sierra? Just wondering what that means. I'll post some pics when I get time, been lagging on that.
