Help! What is this???

Hi all,

I've acquired a 1984 GMC K3500 that needs work. The dash and heater/AC controls came in a box. LOL.

I've been putting everything back together except, I have no idea what this is or where it goes.

any ideas?

Its the blend door vacuum control. It goes on your a/c/heater control unit. It routes vacuum to the blend doors inside your cab to direct air flow.

You might want to preemptively grease and replace the center plastic latch/tab. It may already be broken on one side now. It comes completely apart when both tabs break off. They get so brittle with age.
