So I have a 81 regular cab 2wd custom deluxe. I have a factory bench seat that's in decent condition in the factory steering wheel non-tilt column. Is there a company out there that makes a lowering seat bracket for your factory bench seat. The only bracket set I can find are for the 67 to 72.
If anyone could please point me in the direction of a company that manufactures the brackets or does anyone know of someone that's done the step by step tutorial to customize the OEM brackets. I have welding and cutting skills to do a DIY set.
Thanks for your time and help.

They don't make any for 73-87 because with the hump in the floor for the fuel tanks the seat brackets are really just the sliders anyway. The only way you're going to get the seat lower is to move the tank and modify the floor.

^Yep, what he said. Or get one of the many aftermarket seats that are custom made and you naturally sit lower because of how they do the foam
