I bought this suburban and the engine was torn down to the block. The parts, brackets and bolts were in a box with no labels. I'm finding that critical wiring is missing also. I'm using factory manuals but they're for 1988 trucks and up. Mine is an 89 V15 burban so I think I need the service manuals for the generation prior.
First photo is fuel pump relay and the manual shows this cable going to the ALDL according to the 1988 wiring diagram. I don't see a connector or have any other possible connections.

1 looks like the wire to test the fuel pump with 12v that bypasses the relay.

2 I am not sure. I might run out and check my 90 burb in a bit and look around.

3 looks like the tach signal off the distributor.

4 looks like the temp sensor for the cluster. should go between plugs 1 and 3 in the head.

Good info. I think this dist does not have that terminal. But then again, I don't have a tach.
I'll look for that gauge tmp sensor, but I believe I replaced one on the passenger side between 6 and 8'ish.
