Help i dont understand

So im messing with my carb pretty sure i need a rebuild. . . .but i have the "specs" in a book like float level says 11/32 primary vacuum break 24 degrees how do i read these numbers ?

Sorry it took so long to respond----busy.

The 11/32" is the float level setting. This has to be set with the top of the carb off and the rebuild kit should have more detailed instructions on how to set it and the kit should include a gage---really a mini-ruler.

The 24 degrees is the amount the vacuum break diaphram should open the choke plate as soon as the engine starts to run. Basically, this opens the choke a little so that the engine does not run TOO rich when first started.

You really need a protractor to set it, however if you don't want to buy a protractor, you could use a drill bit to get you fairly close. A 3/16" drill bit would work well for a 24 degree setting.
