Hello everyone,
Chose to join the forum after reading many forum articles without being a member. Below are some pictures of the truck.
The truck is a 1984 GMC K1500 with original 140,000 miles. This trucks sole purpose was for camping and is still how my wife and I use it today. The original owners modified the camper (back in the 80's) to have a bed, second battery system, lights, water tank, sink, and mounted stove for their trips. The back seats also held lots of gear used for camping. Based on the decals found on this truck it has been to Arizona, Alaska, Canada, and i have driven it up the coast to Oregon and into Tahoe.
I have owned this truck for the past 2 years and have slowly been restoring it in order to keep using it the way it was intend to.
When i obtained this truck i was lucky enough to be able to obtain all original documents from when this truck was first sold. I was even given a copy of the original downpayment check for the dealership.
I hope to learn a lot from this forum and am happy to be a part of this community.
More pictures to come of our adventures.
