Hello everyone! This here is the blue bitch, aka old blue, aka blue balls. My dad bought her new in 1986. She is a 1987 Chevy R10 5.7tbi. She turned over three times while dad had her. He used to change her oil every 150k whether she needed or not. So when she was past to me in 1998 she had been cross country multiple times and had rolled the odo three times. I rebuilt her bumper to bumper in 1999, (except the motor, was still going strong). I put a 400 Turbo tranny in her with a mild shift kit, and duals with glass packs. In 2002 I let my uncle take her to Alaska and didn't get her back until 2005 and she was toast. I rebuilt the heads and got her running again. Lost her in the divorce of 07'. She was abandoned by the ex in 14' and I got her back. She sat in the fence row until about three weeks ago when the boy and I pulled her out to get her going for him. She has over 400k on her, starting to rust out in a few spots and just needs a good old goin through. Wasn't running due to shot pumps. (running as of yesterday woot woot). Anyways, she is what she is and she will be what my boy wants her to be. Minus some mossy oak BS he wanted to put on her. LOL. Putting up a build thread to document the transformation!
