Long time lurker, first time poster. Lots of good information here. Bought a 1983 K10 w/305 seven or eight years ago for a hunting and trash hauling truck. Truck didn’t have the lift on it then. Started this restore process in February.

Here’s what I started with.

I’m only working on this truck one day a week in the afternoons for about four hours. Then we got to this point.

Now the end of April and getting ready to finish sanding/ wire wheeling the front frame and painting frame. Shouldn’t be to long before going back in with a 355. Stay tuned for more.
