I have a 1973 C30 that I got just because I need it a truck to move compose and mulch around, so I paid 1200 for it about 2 years ago, the guy that sell it to me had the original sales receipt from the original owner which I think is pretty cool to have, the truck was sold new in California and at certain point end up here in Texas... I have love the square bodies since I could see them thats way over 30 years now... and always wanted one when I was a teenager but could not afford it until now, and I want to get her to be more than a mule that hauls mulch... so in my plans for the furure is first get everything to work properly motor, tranny and electric... then I will start with the interior and lastely but now the least paint.

I hope I get to learn as much as I can from all you.

Frank.

She is been good until saturday night that died on me, she is sitting about 1/4 mile from the house right now, I think the fuel pump is gone, because is cranks hard but never starts...

A friend of mine should be coming up today to help me fix her so I can get her home...

she has a little rust on the top of the cabin and the hood... I got a replacement hood in my garage and 2 door from another truck I just need a helping hand to swap them...

by the way I'm in Pflugerville actually not Austin...

Cool, that puts you even closer, haha. I'm in Pflugerville off of 685/1825. Give me a holler through PM if you need a helping hand. I'd be glad to help if I'm free.

Gracias! You've got good starting point with that truck. What's under the hood?

Nothing fancy just a 454 engine with the TH400 tranny, and I just learn that it may have the 4.10:1 instead of the 3.73:1 because the cab has these tipi look alike emblems on the sides instead of the Bowtie...

They can spray paint her... She needs some patching on the cab to get her painted, the extra parts I have are sanded and prime ready to be paint too... I just need to make up my mind to what I want her to look... I really will like to paint it two tone and pin stripe her like it was out of factory
