Hi everyone. I recently bought a 1987 K5. I have wanted one ever since I was in high school. The engine has been replaced by the previous owner with one out of a 91 pickup and it has the original 700R4. It runs and drives but has minor rust issues. The suspension is stock which is one of the reasons I bought it. My plan is to restore it for a weekend recreation vehicle. I am happy to be a member with you all, and I have already gotten useful information from some of your threads. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and experience!
