About 12 years ago I got a new heater control for my old '79 K5, new from the dealer. Even then I thought it was amazing they could still get one. I think at that time it was only 50-60 bucks.
In your search for a new grill (the style with trim, right?), mid to late 80's Chevy Vans use the same grill. It's a different part number because the mounting points have the screw holes in slightly different locations. It is very easy to mount it and it's impossible to see any differences when it's mounted. I have a GM van grill in my '84.
