I rewired the headlights in my 84 c30 put brand new headlights in it and replaced the switch i thought i fixed all my problems but last night i was driving around and when i switched my high beams on they stayed on for about 30 seconds then all my lights flashed 2 times and then turned off and would flicker on and off randomly then while i was backing it back into the garage i notcied my tail lights were flashing any ideas as to why it might be doing this?

Bad wiring job or bad wiring that you didn’t touch. Possible ground issue.
Flickering (not flashing, presume you mean taillights were also flickering) is usually a loose connection. Hot or ground.
If all lights are doing the same random off on then look to the power to the switch first as it control all the lights.

Also- They are all fed by the same red wire usually coming from starter. It splits (at bulkhead-inside)- one red goes to fuse box for tail lights (after fuse box- it's the orange wire that runs to pull light switch) and the other red goes to pull light switch for headlights.

I think the headlights are on a circuit breaker instead of a fuse. so if something is shorted it gets hot and trips, cools off, and then comes back on, and then trips again when it gets hot. I'd be looking at wiring issues, particularly a short to ground in the high beams if the low beams work like normal.
