Looks similar. Works great. The stuff we use comes in 40 ft rolls that are 1/4 in wide . Would be great for sealing box lids i think.
Yeah, this stuff is way thinner. It's at least 5 years old, and is still like new. Sticky and pliable. Great stuff....

Butyl rubber is the same sealant they use on headlight housings too. Used it for my retrofits.

Ty captain obvious haha. :flipthebird:I simply pointed it out because of its size. Some of that bigger crap would make a mess sealing small things .

So its finally above 0 and actually nice enough to go out and dick around with my lights. My dimmer switch went. Have power everywhere but there. A new one is on its way to the parts store and so is a new set of headlights. @SDJunkMan that multifunction switch seems to have done the trick with the dash lights too.ill know better on that though when it gets dark out

Yes upgrades are comming. I dont need the truck roadworthy while im working because im not home often and when i am its only for 2-3 days. Thats when ill be able to take my time and treat her good

It’s the same stuff as the windshield sealing ribbon that you find in any parts store. It comes in a flat role in a white box about 10” x 10” square.
