So when I turn the headlights to bright I have only one working light and when I dim them they both come on but barely produce any light at all. Where do I need to start looking?

I would check and clean both headlight grounds first. They are on the radiator support by each headlight. Then check and clean the ground wire that runs from the radiator support to the battery.

Ok I checked the headlight grounds already but didn't check the one that runs to the battery so ill do that and see what happens.

I figured out the issue.
The ground wire from one of the switches I believe was broke off. Re ground it and now they work fine.
