Recently purchased a 85 K10 and need some help with locating a set of headers that will work.

Truck info:
355ci / 420hp with OVAL port heads, straight plugs
Retro fit serpentine belt system (91 set-up with passenger AC)
4inch lift
There are a set of headers on it that are worn out and leaking (unknown brand).

Need recommendations with part # for headers with little or no mods for fitment. I see sets with the #5 and #6 cylinders that cross over to the rear before dumping down (not like what is on truck now). The problem I am running into is that all manufactures are stating their products will fit but will not guarantee fitment. If the headers are purchased and pre-fitted, then you cant return them.

Please let me know what has worked for you and provide part number.

I've got nothing for you on fitment, but I bought the summit ceramic coated headers for a BBC and they are pretty dang good quality, especially for the price.

Welcome from Texas nice looking truck. I got a set of Lt hedders for a chevelle on My bbc and had to dent the pass side to get clearance for the A-arm bolt but, fit good with no problem so far.

I think the 85's w/350 had factory headers so might be quite rare?? I had hooker super comp on my 84 K20 w/350 and the fit was great.

Nice truck! I see your in Palatka? I just learned about the "Palatka Lean" on this site recently. Please don't go down that path! Kidding aside, I have Hedman Headers on my 85 k20. They fit good but as usual the #6 spark plug is too close to the tube so it needs some "adjusting" which is not an option on coated headers. I would highly recommend anything with ball sockets over the lousy 3 bolt flange on the collector.

Sorry for the delayed response, work has been crazy. I went with the Summit Racing (#SUM-G9006-9) Ceramic Headers (Long Tube) and there was absolutely no issues or fitment. Went right in with no adjustments and for the money, a wonderful header that works. Hope this may help someone else out there.
