Hangers are gone

Ok my 85 went kaput and im have a 94 k1500 now but the Front of rear Leaf spring hanger is literally gone rusted out all the way my leaf spring is hiting the bed LOL. So i can find the Hanger anyware no web site no autoparts store WTH! i called the dealer and they said 150 just for the part no bolts not bushing nothing Dose anyone here have a Idea where i can get what i need PLEASE even if i have to go with parts from a older one I dont care i just dont have much money. I talked to a Mechanic and he told me if i got the parts he install the parts and all four shocks on my truck for a 150.00 cause im am pritty much poor. Any help guys i be thankful.

LOok around the you pull it yards plenty of GMT400 in there.

is it for the gmt400 /88-98?

if so lmc had or has them

if it's for the old 73-87 squarebody,

ebay, junkyards, people parting trucks etc. or gm.

use that part number gm gives you and bring it home, hit up p and g chevy which is in PA I think partzoneonline or something, and then try gmpartsdirect with that number and even ebay with it, see what you come up with.

Yeah John those are shackles. Around here we got a local truck parts company (semi trucks) who can get the spring hangers, may try calling places like that if you have any nearby.

ok i have looked LMC Wants almost 200 for it the dealer a little cheaper but every time i look it up i get the same kinda part for a ford pop up and they look almost the same here is one of the links

Jesus Cripes, I can't believe how expensive these things are. You don't know anybody that welds that can mock one up for you? ****, maybe somebody here can make him one and ship it to him. I know we got some talented backyard fabricators here. Wasn't Davebell parting one out?

not a squarebody he was doing a gmt400 and you need em for a squarebody right? or is it gmt400?

I'd check local junkyards and forums.
