Hey Guys,
really hit a wall with my build I have been looking for mint grille trim in Alberta for 2 years now with zero luck I ordered the LMC junk against better judgement and is fairly disappointing with quality is there any quality repo's out there or is it all gonna be the the same from taiwan? anybody order from USA 1 or Classic Industries are my expectations to high?

You pretty much have 2 options. Find the OEM GM part numbers and search ebay or find oem used ones and polish them. I was able to find OEM GM trim for my 81 restoration which is a 2 year only trim. Your trim runs 83-87(88 on K5 and suburban)

Good Lord! I ordered the same junk from LMC.
I couldn't believe what crap and poor fitting it was! I still installed it, but all I really needed was the clips..my O.E.M. trim wasn't damaged.
Taking a Saturday and putting stock back on.

I feel your pain. I bought all new grille and trim pieces from Brother's. Complete junk when I opened the box. And it would cost me more to ship it back than I paid for it. So, I polished and painted my stock pieces, and the new junk is getting built in to a wall hanger for the garage

This is why I always look for trim when at the junk yard.
As long as it's not mangled it can be polished back.

Not sure why it's that hard to make aftermarket grill trim but I haven't seen or heard of any good options.

Has anybody used Goodmark trim pieces everyone says they are better than the LMC junk anyone that can back up this thanks.
