Howdy all!
I had a members post from a while back direct me here to fix a problem I had with a seatbelt, and their suggestion worked great! Figure I'd say hello. I have a 1987 Chev V10 4x4 Custom Deluxe. I drive it daily, it's the only vehicle I have with 4 wheels. Starts like a champ, even down to -40*C. It was an old farm truck I've been working on. Second owner, first guy parked it in the early 2000s. I've had it now for 7 years or so. There isn't much left on the truck I haven't touched at least once. Definitely field repaired before me and patch jobs everywhere. All the steering components dealt with including the steering box, a swap from a 305 TBI to a 350 TBI, and using the Dynamic EFI system to tune it. I custom welded up the grill out of scrap I had laying around, painted the truck in a Tremclad/Rustoleum Gloss Black Enamel, and have new rims and tires on it. Upgraded the tanks from 16 gal to 20 gal and a whack load of other fuel tomfoolery to repair. Two pics attached. One of it right out of the garage a few years back. The other with its current topper and rims.
Cheers!
