Hello all. New here to the forum. I used to have a '69 C-10 and hung out on the 69-72 boards for a while but am now the proud owner of a rusty old K-10 stepside. My plan is to build it out for my son's first car. We have a long way to go but am looking forward to the adventure.

Welcome! Birmingham’s a nice town. I used to live a couple hours from there actually. I’ve got some friends that went to UAB, and I can almost taste the Jim ‘N Nick’s barbecue. I used to eat at the one in Tuscaloosa semi-frequently, but I’ve eaten at the ones in Nashville, Gardendale, and Birmingham. The closest one to me now is in freaking Niceville, FL so too far to go. I don’t know how you feel about it, but it’s one of my favorite places.
