Sad day. Hopefully you'll still find a home here for the other things.

I looked up the '63 and '64, I agree the '63 looks a little better, but they look pretty much the same to me. We had a '67 or '68 as a shop car when I was a kid, but didn't keep it long. I think that vintage was when they peaked.

One opinion. Worth everything you paid for it.

@f6john

All kidding aside, sorry that you need to sell your square. I really like the mid 60's Chevelle's and Impala's also. Good luck in your builds.

I have some old school bed rails for the truck I need to sell. Any idea what I should ask for them. Seems like they used to be in demand.

It started life with a 283 and a power glide which I let get away from me, stupid I know. Currently has a .030 over 350 with 10:1 pistons and too much cam for the converter and the rear end gears.
This is what’s going in. 5.7 LS1 from a C5 Corvette with a Holley mid mount front end accessory drive. I will probably upgrade oil pump and timing chain along with a Brian Tooley cam lifters and springs all of which has to go in before the front drive system.

This motor was attached to a 6 speed and while I have a 6 speed in my Corvette, I’m planning on an auto for the Chevelle. There are some very good mounting systems for the engine and transmission along with headers designed to work in GM A bodies. Already have a conversion oil pan, also from Holley that provides good clearance. All this stuff is ridiculously expensive but all the trial an error has been worked out and the aggravation level is way down. I hope to have about 400 horsepower at the wheels which will be plenty for at least a while.

Jerry, congrats on making it to 81 and still enjoying your truck, a lot of people around me my age and younger aren’t with us anymore. Had to be hard to let go of a 69 Z28, but you sure made the new owner happy! The last 20 years have flown by for me so I take your advise to heart.
