I just ordered a pair of P/N 6452 springs for my 82 C10. They look to be just a little stiffer than the OE standard duty springs due to their .78" bar diameter vs. what appears to be .75" for OE.

6454 are 1-ton coil springs for the square.

They work great, I have them in my truck, and they are not too stiff. Though "ride quality" is a subjective thing.
