I've found that not only is the passenger side leaf broken as I had originally thought, but now I've discovered that the driver's side is too. I was originally going to pull some springs off of a junked truck but I think they're probably going to be just as bad as the ones I have on it now. Does anybody know of a good resource for spring packs?

Don't give up too quick on the wrecking yard... you might even find a new set under a wrecked truck.

Those ones broke due to rust buildup between the leaves. Good used packs shouldn't be too hard to find if you want to keep it cheap.

If you want new packs look at Rockauto. And we get a forum discount there. They offer several different brands. When I bought rear springs I chose Dayton- been around a long time.

I had a broken leaf both of my leaf packs. I had them rebuilt locally. I'm in California though, so I'm guessing my leaf quality was better to begin with.
