hello everybody,

I'm alexander from austria and bought my second squarebody a few weeks ago.

my girlfriend also is into old cars so we have 66 impala sport coupe, a 69 mustang sportsroof, a 79 k5 and the 1974 c20 in our garage.

the c20 is a camper special and was imported from arizona and will be my next project after finishing the restoration of the mustang.

Austria? Wow- Work sent me over there for a month a few years ago. I really liked it. Rare for a square to be over there and you guys have 3 of them! Nice collection.

I've never shipped a vehicle anywhere and (if I'm not invading your privacy) I'm curious how much it costs to ship one 6000 miles?

depends on the shipping company and if you ship from east or westcoast. westcoast costs more as it has to go trough the panama canal.
it was between 1200-2000$ per car from the us to rotterdam harbour. you have to pay import taxes and customs which is ~13% and truck freight from the netherlands to austria, ~500$. at the moment the shipping rates are really low, you can get a 20ft bulk container for 1400$ from new york to rotterdam.
