Yes and no. If you have dual headlights, you got inboard mounted turn signals, like my truck. There's studs up top and a flange at the bottom that they mount to

If you have a single headlight truck, your turn signals are in the bezels, under the headlight

Of course, I never considered the signal/marker light location into the equation! I love the look of our truck's grilles the best myself!

@Streetdreamer Also, TruckShop has the best price on the correct GMC letters

They also have the best prices on the re-pop VINYL dash pads. Beat everyone by $50-$200 and they claim to make them themselves.

I like being different than everyone else, so I used carbon fiber printed vinyl on the middle horizontal bar of my grille. It's subtle, but there when you look closely.

One of my former students found an NOS grille still in the GM box. It was posted on FBMP for Greensboro/Winston-Salem area. He picked it up cheap and it's in great shape. Guess what he doesn't have...an '83-'84 GMC truck! The lil twerp knows they're hard to come by and I'm certain that he'll try to make a hustle on it soon. Good luck in your search. @HotWheelsBurban has an earlier make that I am suppose to get as soon as I get him paid. You may contact him and see if he has a lead on one for your truck.

For the life of me I can't understand why someone isn't doing a repop on these. Chevy's are out there but no GMC's. :-(
They think there is not enough demand to justify tooling up for them. What might be an acceptable alternative would be to make GMC logos that will bolt on in place of the Chevy bowtie.

Looking for a grill for the 1984 K2500 I am building. Restorable, NOS, is fine. Any help would be appreciated!
Only place you can find them is at swap meets or on E-Bay. I found mine for a 73 - 75 last month on E-Bay. It cost well over $300.00, but it is in very good shape.

Welcome to the forum and good luck with the grill hunt!

I purchased the AMD repop for my build, looks like it is someone else’s product but I trust AMD wouldn’t market junk. It looks great!

This is my third one in the life of the truck, when I bought the first 2 replacements from the dealer the parts guy told me this was the single most expensive square grill GM made. At least in 1997-1999 it was, I had buddies there and got the employee discount, they were over $300 back then with the discount.

The one I’m replacing is actually in good shape and I planned on reusing but the chrome plating is all pitted and doesn’t polish up good anymore. It looked horrible compared to the re-chromed headlight bezels and new bumpers.

Sorry for hi-jacking OP, I’m just excited about my new grill.

Now a GMC logo that could go on in place of the Chevy bowtie would work until a true GMC grille could be found.

The ‘83-‘84 Grille from CoolingDirect arrived, it’s of good quality but looks like it’s been on a warehouse shelf for many years. A little cleaning and the correct GMC letters will make it look great!
@Streetdreamer .. I recently found an NOS ‘84 Grille and am waiting for shipment. So I’ll probably be listing this Repop with the Emblem For Sale soon.

I also recently found an NOS ‘84 Grille on FB Marketplace. It’s crazy, but they’re still out there! Although it was 3 years of searching.
