GM blue engine paint

Need to repaint the engine of my 78 k10.
Does any know if duplicolor DE1608 or DE1609 is the correct one?

I used DE 1608 on mine looks like a pretty close match.

Funny- I was gonna say DE1608 is NOT a match.

I do not. Buddy of mine gave me 2 cans of the 1608.

I used it to repaint over the Ford blue I had. Used it when I did the water pump.

Close - but needs more green in it.

Maybe the 1609 would do it - I have not tried.

However, if the whole motor was painted that 1608 you'd probably be hard pressed to see the difference.

Yeah they are probably both a little off from factory but would be hard to tell if the entire engine is painted.
