Well, I've been driving it a lot lately and got really tired of the 6mpg the Holley spreadbore was giving me. I've never liked carbs anyway and they don't like me. So off it came!

And on with this:

Looks like TPI to me !!! We just had a member convert from TPI to TBI and I don't think he's happy with the TBI.

This is Gir, the reason behind the whole build. I think of him every time I drive. I still fell him there sitting next to me. He was one of two best friends I've ever had.

I finished up the TPI. It runs awesome. What a perfect system for these trucks. Starts everytime with nothing more than a turn of the key and has gobs of power. Totally transformed the truck. The mileage is light years better too. I haven't went through a full tank yet to get exact numbers but I've already driven it double the days I used to get out of a tank and am just below 1/2 tank.

This is Tak. Girs successor. My wife, my other best friend, got me him for x-mas. He has some pretty damned big shoes to fill. He's doing a good job though, his first day home at 6 weeks old he was out in the garage with me working on the truck till 3am without a single complaint. He loved it.

Very cool Gir Dog. He reminds me alot of my Harley Dawg. He's my bestest traveling buddy too. He loves to go "laters" and is so well behaved when we travel. He even loves traveling from OKC, OK to Abilene, TX when I'd go see my daughter.

Finally getting some use on the farm. It's been a long time coming! 1500lb round bale, handled it like a champ! Barely even compressed the springs (it has K20 springs) It looks lower in the pic because of the uneven ground, the front tire is in a drainage rut.

Nobody would want mine in their condition, so they aren't going anywhere either.
