Fuel tank question #3 this week!

I plan to replace my fuel pump 88 Burban. From rock auto I planned to get a new tank , new fuel pump and sending unit. Along with new straps. Is this waist ful or smart.

^ Well I suppose it depends on what you actually need. Are you saying the fuel pump is dead and you haven’t taken the tank down yet and unsure if the tank or straps will need to be replaced?
No one knows that but you.
However if the truck is in good shape, not rusted out and been used regularly, I wouldn’t imagine the tank and straps need to be replaced.
